Jesolo



Land and sea in Jesolo had not always had the current conformation: in fact, the ancient territory looks like a lagoon, and inside are stood a few small islands.

The largest island was called by the Romans Equilium.
The Romans colonized then these lands, built roads, bridges and villages and in testimony of this are a numerous archaeological finds in the area.

Today tourism in Jesolo enjoys an extraordinary success, particularly thanks to the splendid sea and 15 km of beach (first Italian city by extension).
The recreational opportunities along the sea of Jesolo are numerous, as the artistic to the natural beauty.

These peculiarities of the territory is added the long and proven tradition of tourism in Jesolo, with numerous events, equipped sports facilities and the genuine hospitality of the inhabitants!
